Terms and Conditions (From Jan 2012)
1. All bookings are accepted on the following conditions:
All bookings once confirmed by us must be paid in full by cash or cheque ON ARRIVAL or we may ask for this in advance. (Also see below)
- We DO NOT accept credit cards or debit cards.
- Cheques can only be accepted when accompanied with a bank guarantee card/switch card.
- The minimum charge is for 2 nights, we may at our discretion (Low season and Mid Week) accept 1 night bookings subject to a 1 night booking surcharge (See Published Rates)
- Once booked all Hook ups will be charged for, even if not plugged into.
- Low Wattage camping equipment only to be used.
2. You will be charged in full for the booked cost of your reserved pitch unless :
- We receive written notice of cancellation/curtailment (register post or email) at least 7 days prior to your booked arrival date.
- If your pitch was booked for more than 2 days and partially or fully re-let, you will be invoiced for the difference plus 2 days.
- If you alter your dates, please confirm in writing (registered post or email) - min 7 days notice required.
- Note:- We do not refund any curtailed stays.

3. Pitches are to be vacated by 11.30 am. Arrival is after 12.00 Midday
- We may allow late departures by arrangement please ask.
- Departures after 7.00 pm are liable to full rate charge.
4. Pup tents and or Gazebo’s are charged (See Published Rates). Max one per Booking.
5. During your stay, please inform us in advance of any day visitors.
6. Max one car only per Pitch.(Except by prior agreement)
7.Motor bikes and vans are only allowed with prior consent.
8. Large groups or multiples of couples will be allowed on site only by prior agreement. Please state in your booking if you form part of a larger group. Please note that we will require you to be quite after 10-00 pm. If you are booking for others, you will be liable for their fees being paid.
9. We do not allocate any pitches as we like people to choose where to camp, if you are in a group we are happy if one of you arrives early for them to save a spot for others arriving on the same day. We do not guarantee any group will be able to pitch together.
10. Dogs are welcome but in the interests of hygiene and children's safety they must be:
- Kept on a lead at all times and exercised off site.
- Well behaved, quiet and child friendly.
- Not taken into the toilet block.
11. After 10.00 pm please consider your fellow campers and keep the noise to a minimum. There is no tolerance given to offenders in this matter.
12. PLEASE all drivers 5mph Max - do not exceed the site speed limit which is equivalent to walking pace! This includes cyclists.
13. If Using an electrical hookup make sure all your equipment is to a good standard and suitable for use, the Caravan and Camping Club make recommendations and we ask you to familiarise yourself with these prior top connecting into our system.
14. Barbecues and Camping Stoves are allowed but please observe the following conditions:
- Be aware of children and supervise your BBQ at ALL TIMES UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY OUT AND COLD.
- Be aware of the nearest fire point. Sand or soil is good for smothering a BBQ which has caught a light.
- Disposable barbeques:- please use slabs provided (by washing up station) & return after use.
- Do not burn the grass. A charge of £10.00 min will be made for all such offences to cover the repair cost.
15. Please familiarise yourselves with the fire points on the central fence in the far field and by the shower block. THESE ALSO CONTAIN A HORN FOR SOUNDING THE ALARM.
- To Minimise any fire risk.
- Do not Smoke in tents.
- Do not have Camp Fires.
- Do not use heaters in tents.
- Use special Green BBQ bins for disposal.
- Use stoves and all naked flames carefully.
- IF A FIRE DOES OCCUR RAISE THE ALARM GET OUT AND STAY OUT Only fight if safe to do so.
16. Rabbits and other wild animals are present locally and also on site, rabbit holes, undulations, and sharp objects may be present so please be careful when walking around the site. Do not walk bare footed and use a good torch at all times at night.
No liability whatsoever shall be attached to the management in the event of: (a) Death, injury howsoever caused, illness, inconvenience or any other misadventure. (b) Loss of or any damage to or theft of property including motor vehicles, boats tents, and caravans.
